3DAnimationUS.com operates within a structured, documented production methodology designed to accommodate multi-stakeholder approval processes, brand governance requirements, and the timeline expectations of enterprise engagements.
Phase 1 — Requirements & Discovery Weeks 1–2
Formal discovery process encompassing stakeholder interviews, technical specification review, brand guideline analysis, and competitive context assessment. Findings are documented in a project brief requiring client approval before production investment.
Key activities include: kick-off meeting with all relevant stakeholders, brand standards review, technical requirements documentation, scope finalization, and project schedule establishment.
Milestone Deliverable: Approved Project Brief
Phase 2 — Creative Development Weeks 3–4
Development of storyboards, style frames, and creative direction documentation. Multiple creative options are presented where scope allows, enabling informed client direction before production resources are committed. This phase requires formal client approval before proceeding.
Key activities include: concept development, storyboard creation, style frame design, creative
presentation, and client review and approval.
Milestone Deliverable: Approved Creative Direction
Phase 3 — Asset Development Weeks 5–8
3D modeling, environment construction, character development, and asset preparation. All assets are built to technical specifications established in Phase 1 and reviewed against brand standards. Progress renders are shared at agreed intervals.
Key activities include: 3D modeling, texturing, environment assembly, technical validation, and interim progress review.
Milestone Deliverable: Asset Review Package
Phase 4 — Animation Production Weeks 9–11
Animation development including character performance, camera work, motion graphics elements, and timing refinement. A mid-production playblast review enables client input before final rendering commitment.
Key activities include: keyframe animation, camera choreography, motion refinement, technical
review, and client animation review.
Milestone Deliverable: Approved Animation Draft
Phase 5 — Rendering & Post-Production Weeks 12–13
Final production rendering, lighting refinement, visual effects integration, color grading, audio,
and final compositing. Quality assurance review against technical delivery specifications before
client presentation.
Key activities include: final rendering, post-production polish, technical QA, and final client
review.
Milestone Deliverable: Final Animation for Approval
Phase 6 — Delivery & Handover Week 14
Delivery of final files in all specified formats with accompanying technical documentation. Project
files archived per retention agreement. Post-delivery support window begins.
Key activities include: format preparation, delivery package assembly, technical documentation,
and project closeout.
